Pitri dosha
This yoga is formed when Rahu and Ketu are with any of the Luminaries and are placed in the 6th, 8th and the 12th house. Many a times, this yoga is also formed in the 5th house and if other planets do not show any beneficial aspects, this yoga does not allow a person to progress at all. There can be hospital stay and / or confinement. It is said that Lord shirk Ramah had a pitru Dosha, As he had Saturn in 4th house while Suryadev in 10th House. (Opposite each other) Regarding Pitru Dosha, Jyotish Ratnaker, Bhav Manjri, Brahad Jatakam, Chintamani, and Parasar Mooni Hora Shastra - Under mentioned is the quote as per BPHS as per sholka 27th “ Langna pancham Bhav Vastha Bhanu/Bhom/Sanicharay Radhre – ri - ke Rahu Jivo Pitru shapat Suta Sharya - “ Meaning 5th House, has Surya/Sanidev/Mars all are present or 8th and 12th house has Presence of Guru/Rahu to gether, than it is considered as As Pitru Dosha Apart from these there is quite a few methods to verify about As Pitru Dosha – probably Person can write a book about it - above is few examples. Any Astrologer should examine the Horoscope (Kundli) in detail before predicting As Pitru Dosha - as per example if Suryadev / Moon and Guru is together in one house than Effect of As Pitru dosha automatically diminishes. (Nust Bhanga) or say it no longer Pitru Dosha Remedies: Prayer Minimum 11 (Eleven) times. As mentioned below. Om Hreem Suryaye Namah or Om Ram Ravaye Namah OR Pray with one Diva (Small light) and Chant Om Mata pitaye Namah. These prayers are simple and cheapest way for Dosha Nivarana. - Although costly method are there – but I prefer the Prayers
Pitra-Rin
Since we enjoy the wealth, name and fame earned by our
ancestors we are equally liable to suffer their misdeeds too. The
dosh created as a result of the bad deeds of our ancestors is paitrik-
dosh or pitra-rin or pitra-shrap. Even in the legal system we are
held responsible for the debts of our forefathers similarly in
astrology too we have to pay their debts. Brahat parashar gives 14
kinds of pitra-shrap, Mantreshwar in phal deepika says that rahu in
the 5th creates pishach-badha, Gopal Ratnakar calls it sarp-shrap. In
the traditional vedic astrology Rahu is considered the main cause of
these dosh .
Lal Kitab in its 1952 edition discusses this problem in great
detail along with its remedies . I quote from Lal Kitab :
{ ghar nauve ho koi grah baitha,
budh baitha jad sathi ho ;
rin pitri us ghar se hoga ,
asar grah sab nisphal ho ;
saathi grah jab jad koi kate ,
drishti magar wo chhupta ho
paanch ,barah, do, nau koi mande,
rin pitri ban jaata ho }
The lines above describe these three conditions of pitra-rin:
[ 1 ] ' ghar nauve ho koi grah baitha , budh baitha jad saathi
ho ' ---- If there is a grah in the 9th house and Mercury occupies
the rashi of that grah then it will be a pitr-rin kundali. For
example jupiter is in the 9th house and if Mercury is in either
sagittarius or pisces , or venus is in the 9th and mercury is in
taurus or libra .
[ 2 ] ' saathi grah jab jad koi kate , drishti magar wo chhuptaa
ho ' --- when the enemy planets occupy a rashi and is not aspected by
the rashi lord , the kundali will be of pitr-rin. For example if the
enemy planets of saturn like sun , moon or mars occupy either makar
or kumbha and if not aspected by saturn .
[ 3 ] 'paanch barah nau do koi mande , rin pitra ban jaata ho' --- if
there is an enemy planet of Jupiter like venus or mercury in the
5th , 12th , 9th and 2nd then also it will be a pitr-rin kundali .
The Lal kitab suggests remedies in detail for pitr-rin arising out of
such situations . It provides the detailed cause of these debts , the
grah involved and its remedies. I have not seen such a detail in any
other book on astrology.
GandaMoola Dosha
Meaning
The fear of Ganda-Moola or “Gandants” is highly prevalent in our society. At the time of birth pandits often terrorise the parents if a child born under certain nakshatra. It is important to understand the myth and reality first. The “Ganda “ means “Knot” and the “anta” means “end”. The Zodiac or the path of moon is divided into 12 raashis or in 27 nakshatras. So, it is the junction point in the zodiac which can be found at three places.
Concept
Interestingly the nature of each sign repeats after every 4 signs. For Example Aries is first sign. It is of firey nature. The sequence is as follows-
Aries,Leo,Sagittarius- Firey
Taurus,Virgo,Capricorn-Earthy
Gemini,Libra,Acquarius-Airy
Cancer,Scorpio,Pisces-Watery
We all know that fire and water are enimical. The border between Aries-Pisces,Cancer-Leo and Scorpio-Saggitarius act like danger mark or in otherway it is like a “knot” or “point of junction”. That is why when moon is about to cross the dividing line or has just cross it then it is considered as a warning signal. It is believe that a person born under this situation suffers numerous miseries in life. Since each raashi can be sub divided into nakshatras, so the nakshatras falling at the beginning of Aries/Leo/Saggitarius i.e. Aswini, Magha and Moola and the nakshatras falling at the end of Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces i.e. Ashlesha, Jyeshtha and Revati can be trouble causing. But this rule is too general and the pandits make full use of it as a weapon to terrorise the parents of a new born. Since the nakshatra can be further subdivided into 4 padas therefore 4th pada of Revati, Ashlesha, Jyestha and the 1st pada of Ashwini, Magha and Moola should be put into scanner. The first three Ghatis(1 ghati=24 mints) of Ashwini, magha & moola nakshatras and the last five Ghatis before the end of the ashlesha, jyeshtha & revati are important.
Views
1.First If birth is in the daytime, it is called Pitri (father) Gandanta while a night birth during Gandanta is called Matri (mother) Gandanta.
2. The second view is if birth in Revati – Aswini junction is called Swa (self) –Gandanta, if birth in Ashlesha – Magha junction is called Matri (mother) Gandanta and if birth in Jyestha – Moola junction is called Pitri (father) Gandanta.
3. Consideration of Moola-Nivasa (Residence of Moola)
a) In months of Margasirsa, Phalgun, Vaisakha and Jyestha the residence of Moola is in “Patala Loka”
b) In Sravana, Kartika, Chaitra and Pausa the residence of Moola is in Martyu Loka
c) In months of Ashada, Aswina, Bhadra and Magha, the residence of Moola is in Swarga Loka
If birth is in Gandanta and the residence of Moola is in the Martyu Loka then great evil is indicated. The evil is lesser for the other Loka. Also Movable, Fixed and Dual signs as the (Lagna) are said to give Moola residence of Swarga, Patala and Martyu loka respectively.
4. The number of the Janma Nakshtra is multiplied by three (3). The numbers of birth tithi as recknoed from Sukla Paksha prati pada and the day of birth (as reckoned from Sunday) are added and the sum is divided by eight (8). The remainder indicates the Ganda Dosh (Error/Evil). Following are the effect if the remainder is
1. Complete destruction
2. Loss of wealth
3. danger to mother
4. Loss of physical power
5. Destruction in maternal relations
6. Destructions to Co borns
7. Loss to Father
8. Complete loss
Conclusion
As per traditions various remedies and rituals has to be performed in case of gandadosha. But the above negative effects will accrue only when other supporting yogas are present in the chart. Birth on Abhijit muhurat counters the evill effects as per Sage Vashistha. Also, moon in own vargas and aspected by benefics can ward off the ill effects. So, no need to fear when remedies are here!!!
Nazar dosh and remedies
The concept of “Buri Nazar” (evil eye) is very popular and creates ripples in the mind when any one heard about it. This is transfer of negative energy. When a person constantly think negative about another person or object the negative thoughts accumulated in the mind. This vibrating energy when transfer to another object, then it causes harm to it. For example when a person is affected by evil eye, then his thinking pattern may get disturbed badly. It might cause unexplainable diseases which are unexplain even by the world of medical science. Similarly when an object falls under the effects of evil-eye then it might be damaged. Intrestingly, it is the first gaze of the person which is important. Once it is neutralized , then there is no harm.
Even in china people put a octagonal mirror in front of their houses to prevent the evil effects entering the house. It is called “Shar” in china. On the same concept in India 7 chilies and a lemon is hang on top of the front door. Some of the effective methods of removing the evil eye are as follows
1) Wave salt over the head of the afflicted person and throw it in the running water.
2) Use red chilly and repeat the above step, but instead it is thrown in fire.
3) Hang 7 chilies and a lemon on top of the front door
4) Apply black spot on the forehead of children, if they are the sufferers
5) Black pot is hang on top of the house
6) Black thread is tied below the new vehichle.
7) Take a bowl of mustard oil and look your image in it. Then burn it outside the house.
8) Take seven red chilies, rock salt, mustered seeds, a piece of Fitkari and a lemon and put it in a small bag. And rotate the things three times clockwise and three times anticlockwise and ask the sufferers to spit for three times on the bag and throw all the articles at a distant place.
9) In an alum method , it is rotated 3 times around the affected person and then thrown in fire(But it is very dangerous method from spiritual point of view)
10) Use coconut and rotate it around the person in odd number and then break it at the cross road.
11) On the shadow of person place a lamp and put 7 chilles in it.
It is not only the human being responsible for the evil-eye, even animals also cast evil eye to human being. It is beleive that the wife of oil vendor, goldsmith and washerman possess more powers. So, there are many rituals to prevent from the aftermath of evil eye which varies from place to place and religion to religion.
