What happens when the 8th and 6th lords are both in RKA in the 5th/11th houses along with debilitated 9th lord Sun?

 What happens when the 8th and 6th lords are both in RKA in the 5th/11th houses along with debiltated 9th lord Sun?

Rahu does not simply become a generic “malefic” because the 8th lord joins it. The result comes from the interaction of:
1. 8th lord — represents the 8th-house agenda: sudden changes, obstruction, vulnerability, secrecy, hidden matters, chronicity, inheritance, transformation, etc.
2. Rahu — magnifies, distorts, intensifies and gives unconventional expression to the planet/house with which it is connected.
3. 5th house — represents intelligence, discrimination, learning, children, progeny, mantra, purva-punya, speculation, creativity and counsel.
4. The sign lord and strength of the planets involved — these ultimately determine how the combination manifests.
8th lord + Rahu in the 5th
If the 8th lord is placed in the 5th with Rahu, the 8th-house influence can contaminate or disturb the matters of the 5th through Rahu's amplifying and unconventional nature.
The classical logic can therefore be expressed as:
8th lord → spoils/disturbs the house occupied.
Rahu → acts according to the house, sign lord and planets associated with it.
Therefore, Rahu in the 5th associated with the 8th lord acquires an 8th-house colouring, while simultaneously carrying the 5th-house agenda.
This can produce several possibilities.
1. Intelligence and judgement
The 5th is buddhi. Rahu already tends to make the intellect unconventional, analytical, suspicious or excessively investigative.
When the 8th lord joins Rahu:
the mind may become deeply interested in hidden, mysterious or occult subjects;
there can be extraordinary investigative ability;
but discrimination may become distorted by suspicion, obsession or over-analysis;
the native may sometimes arrive at conclusions through unusual or secretive methods.
Thus, “spoil” does not necessarily mean destroy. An 8th–5th connection can actually produce a person capable of penetrating beneath the surface.
This is particularly important in occult astrology: the 8th gives the subject matter and Rahu gives the hunger to penetrate it, while the 5th provides the intelligence and capacity to comprehend it.
2. Occult knowledge
This is one of the more interesting manifestations.
5th = mantra, vidyā, discrimination and purva-punya.
8th = occult, hidden knowledge, mysteries and research.
Rahu = unconventional or non-orthodox approach.
Consequently, an 8th lord + Rahu in the 5th can give strong attraction to occult or hidden knowledge, especially if Jupiter, Mercury, the 5th lord or the 8th lord is strong and there are further supporting connections.
The same combination, when afflicted, can instead give wrong teachers, distorted occult practices, superstition or obsession with occult matters.
3. Children
Here the 8th lord's destructive/disturbing tendency becomes more sensitive.
Because the 5th signifies children, an afflicted 8th lord joined Rahu may create:
anxiety regarding children;
delay or complications concerning progeny;
unusual circumstances connected with children;
difficulties in maintaining peace through children;
sudden changes concerning children.
But one should never predict loss of child merely from this combination. For such a conclusion, the 5th house, 5th lord, Jupiter, Saptamsha and relevant dashas must independently support it.
4. Speculation
The 5th also governs speculation and risk-taking.
Rahu naturally has an appetite for extraordinary gains and unconventional risks. The 8th lord introduces uncertainty, sudden reversals and hidden factors.
Therefore:
Rahu + 8th lord in 5th → tendency toward speculative risk involving uncertain or hidden factors.
If supported by strong dhanayoga and benefic influence, this can sometimes produce gains through unusual investments or speculative fields.
If afflicted, it can produce reckless speculation, sudden losses and compulsive risk-taking.
The deeper principle
I would formulate the rule this way for your teaching:
When the 8th lord associates with Rahu in the 5th, Rahu carries the influence of the 8th lord into the 5th-house matters. The result is not merely destruction of the 5th; rather, the 5th becomes a field for the 8th-house experiences—secrecy, sudden changes, investigation and occult subjects—expressed through Rahu's unconventional and amplifying nature.
And there is an important distinction:
8th lord in 5th + Rahu ≠ automatically bad.
The combination can be very powerful for occult learning, research, investigation, astrology and penetrating knowledge, while simultaneously creating vulnerability in the ordinary significations of the 5th.
The final judgement depends heavily on who the 8th lord is, its dignity, the 5th lord, Jupiter, Rahu's dispositor, aspects and D-7/D-9 support.

With Sagittarius Ascendant, the combination becomes much more specific:
5th house: Aries
5th lord: Mars
8th lord: Moon
Moon + Rahu: in the 5th house Aries
11th house: Libra
Sun: 9th lord, in Libra
Venus: 6th and 11th lord, in own sign Libra
Ketu: Libra
So here the principle you raised—“the 8th lord spoils the house in which it is placed”—has a particularly interesting application because the 8th lord Moon is not merely in the 5th; it is joined by Rahu in the 5th.
What does the 8th lord Moon do to Rahu?
I would not say simply that Moon spoils Rahu. Rather:
The 8th lord Moon gives Rahu an 8th-house agenda, while Rahu amplifies and distorts the Moon's functioning.
And because this happens in the 5th house, the 8th-house influence enters the domains of intelligence, judgment, children, speculation, mantra, learning and purva-punya.
There is an additional layer: Rahu is in Aries, whose lord is Mars—the 5th lord. Therefore, Rahu is sitting in the house of its dispositor's lordship. This makes the 5th-house dimension particularly strong.
1. Intelligence: penetrating but restless
Moon is the mind, 8th lord signifies hidden matters, and Rahu intensifies whatever it touches.
So this is not necessarily a weak intellect. Quite the contrary, it can give:
penetrating investigation;
fascination with things beneath the surface;
ability to detect what others overlook;
attraction toward mysteries, psychology, occult subjects and hidden causes;
unconventional methods of learning.
But the weakness is mental restlessness and suspicion.
The native may not be satisfied with the obvious explanation and may continually ask:
“What is really happening behind this?”
That can become excellent research ability—or excessive suspicion—depending upon the strength of Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Rahu's dispositor.

2. This is particularly significant for occult knowledge
Here the combination is actually quite logical astrologically:
5th → vidyā, mantra, intelligence
8th → occult, hidden knowledge, secrets
Rahu → unconventional, unusual, penetrating
Aries → initiative and direct investigation
Thus:
8th lord Moon + Rahu in 5th can give an intense attraction toward occult/hidden knowledge.
For an astrologer, researcher or occult student, this can be a very productive combination if Jupiter and the 5th lord are strong.
But if badly afflicted, the same combination can produce fascination without discrimination—belief in questionable systems, wrong interpretation, or obsession with hidden explanations.

3. Children: this is where caution is necessary
Because Moon is 8th lord in the 5th, the 8th-house principle directly touches progeny.
Rahu further complicates the matter.
Therefore, I would read it as:
Children or matters concerning children may become a source of sudden events, anxiety, unusual circumstances or transformation in the native's life.
But I would not conclude childlessness or loss of children from this combination alone.
For that, I would want to examine:
5th lord Mars
Jupiter as putra-karaka
5th house
Moon
D-7
relevant dashas and transits.
That distinction is very important in teaching predictive astrology.

4. Speculation is another vulnerable area
The 5th is speculation, while:
Rahu = appetite for extraordinary gains
8th = sudden reversals/unpredictability
Therefore, this combination can make the native very attracted to speculative opportunities, particularly those involving unusual or poorly understood factors.
The danger is:
confidence in one's ability to see what others cannot see.
That is actually a classic psychological expression of Rahu + 8th influence.
If Mars and the 5th house are strong and beneficially supported, it can instead produce an excellent instinct for research-based speculation.

But look at the 11th house
Your 11th house Libra has Sun + Venus + Ketu.
This is very important because the 5th–11th axis is activated.
Venus is the 6th and 11th lord in its own sign, Libra
That gives considerable strength to the 11th-house framework:
gains
fulfilment of desires
networks
associations
elder siblings
professional/social circles.
But Sun + Ketu with Venus modifies how those gains and associations operate.
Sun is the 9th lord, so there is a connection between fortune (9th) and gains (11th).
That is potentially excellent.
However, Sun is debilitated in Libra, and Ketu's conjunction introduces detachment/separation or unusual circumstances into the 11th-house matters.

The most interesting axis: 5th–11th
You therefore have:
5th: Moon + Rahu
11th: Sun + Venus + Ketu
This creates a very strong axis between:
intelligence/knowledge/speculation/children/mantra
and
gains/networks/fulfilment/elder siblings.
There is also an important philosophical point here.
The 9th lord Sun in the 11th can connect dharma and fortune with gains, while the 8th lord Moon with Rahu in the 5th can make the native seek knowledge that is not conventional.
So, depending on the rest of the horoscope, this can describe someone who turns unusual knowledge into gains or recognition through networks and associations.
One thing I would particularly examine
Since Rahu is in Aries, its dispositor is Mars, the 5th lord.
Therefore, to understand the actual outcome of this Rahu–Moon combination, Mars becomes crucial.
The chain is:
Rahu → Mars → 5th house
while:
Moon → 8th lord → 5th house
So both the Rahu dispositor and the 8th lord are feeding into the 5th-house agenda.
That changes the picture considerably. With Sagittarius Ascendant, the relevant structure is:
5th house Aries: Moon (8th lord) + Rahu
5th lord Mars: Leo, 9th house
9th house: Mars
11th house Libra: Sun + Venus + Ketu
9th lord Sun: Libra, 11th
The important point is that the 5th lord Mars is strong by house placement in the 9th, and therefore the 8th-lord–Rahu combination in the 5th should not be judged in isolation.
The chain becomes very interesting
Moon = 8th lord → 5th
Rahu → 5th, in Mars's sign
Mars = 5th lord → 9th
So the 8th-house influence comes into the 5th, but the 5th lord itself moves to the 9th.
This creates a 5th–9th connection, which is fundamentally a dharmic/trinal connection.
And there is another layer:
Mars in Leo receives the influence of the Sun, because Leo is ruled by the Sun.
But Sun, the 9th lord, is in the 11th.
Thus we get:
5th → 9th → 11th
This is quite significant for knowledge becoming a source of gains, recognition or fulfilment.

What does this do to Rahu?
Here I would refine the original proposition.
The 8th lord Moon does bring the 8th-house agenda to Rahu, but Rahu's dispositor Mars is the 5th lord placed in the 9th.
Therefore, Rahu is not merely carrying a destructive 8th-house influence.
It is carrying:
8th-house mystery + 5th-house intelligence + 9th-house higher knowledge.
That is an excellent signature for deep investigation into hidden knowledge, philosophy, occult subjects, astrology, mantra and traditional knowledge, particularly if Jupiter is strong.
In other words:
The 8th lord takes Rahu into the 5th, but the dispositor of Rahu takes the 5th into the 9th.
So the energy has somewhere constructive to go.
This is the important distinction
If the 5th lord Mars were severely afflicted or placed in a difficult house, I would be much more concerned about the 8th lord + Rahu combination.
But here:
5th lord → 9th house
is a strong mitigating factor.
The native may have an unusual or unconventional approach to knowledge, but that knowledge can become philosophical, spiritual, occult or shastric rather than merely chaotic.

Mars in the 9th also links the 5th and 9th
The 5th and 9th are both trikonas.
So:
5th lord Mars in 9th = 5th–9th sambandha.
This can give:
love of learning;
capacity for higher studies;
interest in philosophy;
strong intellectual convictions;
teaching ability;
interest in traditional knowledge;
mantra/occult learning when other factors support it.
And because Rahu is sitting in the 5th, the knowledge may not follow a conventional academic path.
It can be:
traditional knowledge approached through an unconventional mind.
That is a much more precise interpretation than simply saying "8th lord spoils the 5th."

There is also a powerful 9th–11th connection
The 9th lord Sun is in the 11th.
And Mars, the 5th lord, is in Leo, Sun's sign.
Therefore Mars is disposed by the 9th lord Sun.
So the chain becomes:
5th lord Mars → Sun (9th lord) → 11th house
This is a beautiful 5th–9th–11th linkage.
It can indicate that knowledge, teaching, counsel, creativity or intellectual ability can become a source of gains and fulfilment.
The Rahu component can make the field unusual, specialized or unconventional.

But I would retain one caution
Moon as 8th lord in the 5th with Rahu still cannot be dismissed.
It can produce volatility in:
mental peace,
judgement,
children,
speculative decisions,
emotional attachment to one's ideas.
And because Moon is joined Rahu, the mind can become overly absorbed in whatever subject it is pursuing.
So the same combination can give either:
deep research and exceptional insight
or
obsession and distorted judgement.
The deciding factors would now be Jupiter's placement/aspect, Mars's dignity and aspects, Moon's dignity, and the Navamsha.
One particularly interesting thing in this chart is that Rahu is not simply sitting in the 5th and destroying it—the dispositor Mars carries the 5th to the 9th, and the 9th lord carries that energy to the 11th. That substantially changes the interpretation.
