1. 2nd–11th link — wealth + accumulation
The 2nd house represents dhana—stored wealth,
accumulated resources, family wealth, possessions and the capacity to retain
what one earns.
The 11th house represents lābha—income, gains,
profits, fulfilment of desires and increase.
Therefore:
2nd = what is accumulated
11th = what is gained
When their lords are connected by yuti, mutual aspect,
exchange, common dispositor, or another recognised sambandha, the channel
between earning/gains and accumulation becomes active.
11th → 2nd: gains become accumulated wealth.
2nd → 11th: accumulated resources generate further gains.
This is why the 2nd–11th relationship is particularly direct
for financial prosperity.
2. Lagna–2nd link — the native becomes connected with
wealth
The Lagna represents the native himself/herself—the
body, personality, initiative, capacity to act and overall life direction.
The 2nd represents wealth and resources.
So when the Lagna lord connects with the 2nd lord,
wealth becomes connected to the person's own agency and life circumstances.
Conceptually:
Lagna → person
2nd → wealth
Lagna–2nd sambandha → person connected with wealth
This does not mean that every such combination automatically
produces great riches. The condition of the planets, houses, dignity, affliction
and operating daśā still determine how strongly and under what circumstances
the promise manifests.
But the basic relationship is inherently relevant to dhana.
3. Lagna–11th link — the person becomes connected with
gains
The distinction becomes very interesting here.
Lagna = the person
11th = gains, income, fulfilment and increase
Therefore, when the Lagna lord and 11th lord are
connected, the native is directly connected with the mechanism of gain.
This can manifest through:
- personal
efforts producing gains,
- one's
activities becoming a source of income,
- influential
networks and associations,
- fulfilment
of ambitions,
- increase
in resources.
Thus:
Lagna–2nd → person ↔ wealth
Lagna–11th → person ↔ gains
2nd–11th → gains ↔ accumulated wealth

The important conceptual point is that the 2nd and 11th
should not be treated as identical.
The 11th produces the gain, while the 2nd
represents the wealth that is possessed and accumulated. The Lagna brings
the native into the equation.
So, in a simple formula:
Lagna = who earns
11th = what is gained
2nd = what is possessed/accumulated
That is why the three different links can independently have
a wealth-producing significance, while their simultaneous interconnection can
make the dhana mechanism considerably more comprehensive.
