Dasha Mapping Example

 Step-by-Step Mapping of the Case

1. Bhava Focus: 5th House (Putra Bhava)
The 5th house governs children, creativity, and progeny.
Its natural significator (karaka) is Jupiter.
2. Dasha Lord: Moon
The running Mahadasha lord is Moon, placed in Aries in the 5th house.
Since Moon is directly occupying the 5th, the bhava itself is strongly active during Moon’s period.
3. Significator: Jupiter
Jupiter, the natural significator of children, is placed in Cancer.
Cancer is the sign ruled by the Moon, the Dasha lord.
This creates a link between the Dasha lord (Moon) and the significator (Jupiter), reinforcing the 5th house theme.
4. Antardasha Lord: Rahu
Rahu is also placed in the 5th house in Aries, joining the Moon.
Rahu amplifies the results of the house it occupies, especially when connected to the Dasha lord.
Rahu in the 5th often gives children, though sometimes with unusual circumstances, but here it is harmonised by the Moon’s placement.
Note- Rahu acts based on placement and association.
Outcome
With Moon (Dasha lord) in 5th, Jupiter (significator) in Moon’s sign, and Rahu (Antardasha lord) also in 5th, the 5th house is triple-activated.
This alignment clearly mapped to the birth of a daughter during this period.

Principle Demonstrated
This case beautifully shows how Dasha mapping works:
House activation: Dasha lord in the bhava.
Significator support: Karaka connected to the Dasha lord’s sign.
Antardasha reinforcement: Sub-lord is also placed in the same bhava.
When all three align, the bhava’s results manifest strongly and tangibly.
