Eighth Navratra devi--Maha gauri







Eighth Navratri – Mahagauri Devi, Representing calmness and exhibits wisdom.

Mahagauri The Maha gauri devi is the one goddess out of the nine goddess. In this form the Maha gauri Durga devi is


a white skin and dressup with white ornaments and she has four-armed rides on a bull. She holds a trishool and damaru like (small hand-drum), one hand is in blessing posture and one hand is fearless mudra or posture. She is completely calm and peacefull position and a form of mata Parvati did penance to get as a husband of lord Shiva . Purity is depicted in this form of Durga. Mahagauri form of Durga is worshipped on the eighth day of Navratri or Navdurga puja i.e.ashwin shukla ashtami.

Shvete Vrishe Samaarudha Shvetaambardhara Shuchi !

Shubham Dadyantra Mahadev Pramodada !!
 Ashtam jyoti baglamukhi pragti (Baglamukhi)
Om so so suta samundar tapu, tapu mein thapa sinhasan peela. Sinhasan peele upper kaun baise sinhasan peela upper baglamukhi baise, baglamukhi ke kaun sangi kaun saathi. Kachhi bachhi kaak-kutiya-swan chidiya, om bagla bala haath mugdar maar, shatru hariday par swar tiski jeevha khichche  bala. Baglamukhi marni karni uchchatan dharni, anant koti.
Om harileem brahamastrayen vidmahe stmbhanbanaaye

dheemhi tanno bagla prachodyaat.
